云程发轫，万里可期——OCIS 2024届毕业典礼圆满举行

时光易逝，岁月如流。作为OCIS的第一届学生，我和在座的老师同学们一样，见证了学校起航。同时，学校也见证了我的成长。三年复三年，在三年的小学时光中，OCIS创造了属于我的童年。在三年初中时光里，挥洒了我热血的青春。小学的时光已成为历史，而如今三年的初中生活也即将画上句号。在这里，我们曾一起为梦想拼搏，在教室里埋头苦读，在操场上挥洒汗水，在实验室探索未知。那些奋斗的时光，都成为了我们青春岁月里最珍贵的记忆。

I am amased at how time has elapsed. I was one of the founding students of OCIS, so I have witnessed the school's development, like most of the students and staff here. At the same time, the school also witnessed my growth. Over the course of my three years in Primary, OCIS shaped my own childhood. During my three years of middle school, I lived happily as a passionate teenager. The time of Primary has become history, and now three years of middle school life are about to come to an end. Here, we have fought for our dreams together, buried our heads in the classroom, sweated on the playground, and explored the unknown in the laboratory. Those moments of struggle have become the most precious memories of our lives.

我代表9年级的同学们，在这里对我们朝夕相处的老师们，说一声谢谢。是你们的耐心教导和无私奉献，让我们在知识的海洋中畅游，不断成长。也要感谢陪伴在身边家人和同学，是你们的鼓励和帮助，让我们在成长的道路上不再孤单。

On behalf of my 9th grade classmates, I would like to say thank you to the teachers we spend time with. It is your patient guidance and selfless dedication that have allowed us to swim freely in the ocean of knowledge and constantly grow. I also want to express my gratitude to my family and classmates who have accompanied me. It is your encouragement and help that have made us no longer lonely on the path of growth.

九年级的学生——你刚刚完成了中学的学业，正准备升入高中，你应该为自己迄今为止所取得的成就感到骄傲。你现在离无忧无虑的小学时代已经过去了三年，安排时间和学习的重任已经从老师转移到了自己身上；你在学习方式、生活方式和探寻生活意义方面所做的选择已经开始塑造你成为怎样的人，并随着你进入高中、大学和其他阶段，这些选择只会变得更加重要，并改变你的人生。

Grade 9 students — you’ve just completed your journey through middle school, and are preparing to move into high school, you should be proud of what you have accomplished so far. You are now three years removed from the more carefree primary school years; the responsibility for organizing your time and taking charge of your studies has shifted from the teachers to yourselves; the choices you make in how you study, how you live, and what you decide to live for have begun to follow you and shape who you choose to be. These choices will only become more important and life-altering as you move into high school, university and beyond.

作为一名班主任，我很高兴看到你在学业和社交方面的成长和成熟。作为一名教师，我很高兴看到你们所有人都在努力丰富自己的思想，在想象力上变得富有创造力，在思想上变得富有批判性，并专注于自己的目标。

As one of your homeroom teachers, it has been a pleasure watching you grow and mature both academically and socially. As a teacher I have been pleased to see all of you work hard enriching your minds, become creative in imagination, critical in thought, and focused on your goals. 

漫漫岁月，悠悠情深。难忘早课时的歌声，难忘食堂的欢声笑语，难忘运动会上的欢呼与叹气。我们班在六年以来获得了许多成就。运动会上的最佳服装奖，节约水资源海报的最佳奖等。就连那紧张的考试都成了我们之间最美好的回忆。

A memorable home room time song,unforgettable canteen laughter,cheers and sighs at the unforgettable sports day.Our class has achieved a lot in the past six years.Best costume award at the sports day,the best award for water saving posters.Even that stressful exam have become the best memories between us.

同学们，时光飞逝，当我们毕业典礼落幕，再次走出校园，我们也已经写完小学生活的最后一笔，我们将踏上不同的精彩人生。同学们，毕业是一个里程碑。毕业其实不代表着结束，而是开始，一个新征程的开始，这是一段难忘的时光。是它让我们拥有了回忆，懂得了珍惜。最后，我祝愿同学们万事如意，前程似锦。

Time flies,when we walk out the school again after graduation,we have also written the final touch of primary school life.We will embark on different wonderful lives.Graduation is not the end,but the beginning,the beginning of a new journey,it was an unforgettable time.it let us have memories and know how to cherish.Finally,I wish the students all have the best and bright future.

我要感谢我的父母。他们尊重和支持我的选择，让我来到了OCIS。从此我拥有了自由、放松的学习氛围和非常好的英语环境。

I want to thank my parents for their respect and support to my transfer requirement. So that I can have a free, relaxed learning atmosphere here.  

我要感谢老师们。他们经验丰富，悉心呵护我们，尤其是Miss Norah 和Mr. Kevin。他们在学习和生活中给了我很多帮助，让我变得更加自信和开朗。

I also want to thank the teachers who are very experienced and helpful, especially Miss Norah and Mr. Kevin. They have given me a lot of help both in study and in life, which made me more confident and cheerful.

我喜欢在这里和同学们一起学习，一起玩耍，一起成长。我们结下了深厚的友谊，这是我人生中最宝贵的财富。

In addition, I enjoy studying, playing and growing up with my classmates here, where I have already make many good friends.

此外，我还要感谢我的母校Ocis。谢谢学校精心安排的游学、艺术展等各种活动，这些活动让我们感受到学习真的很生动, 很有趣。

我们即将进入更高的年级，学习更多的新知识，学习更多人生的宝贵经验。我会继续努力，管理好自己的时间，争取取得更好的学习成绩。

Furthermore, I would like to thank to Osic as well. The well-arranged study tours let us feel learning is really vivid and interesting.

Last but not least, we are going to enter a higher grade, to learn new knowledge and build up our noble characters. I will continue to study hard, improve time management, and to achieve an even better result.

岁月不居，时光如流。时间悄然流逝，带走了岁月的痕迹，却留下了珍贵的记忆。转眼间，我们即将告别小学的时光，迎来新的生活篇章。在未来的日子里，老师希望你们能够继续保持对学习的热情和好奇心。要记住学习不仅仅是应对考试，更是为了充实自己的内心，提升自己的素养。无论在学习上遇到了什么困难，请坚持下去，先完成再完美。

Year after year, days quietly passes, taking away the traces of time, but leaving behind precious memories. In the blink of an eye, we are about to bid farewell to our Primary days and usher in a new chapter of life. In the future, I hope that you can continue to maintain your enthusiasm and curiosity for learning. Remember that learning is not just about preparing for exams, but also about enriching one's inner self and improving one's literacy. No matter what difficulties you encounter in your studies, please maintain your perseverance, first to comple then to perfect.

同时，我也希望你们都能够拥有一颗正直、善良的心。《论语·里仁》中说过：“德不孤，必有邻”。与他人相处的时候要学会尊重他人，用真诚和善意去对待每一个人。这样，你也会赢得他人的尊重和友谊，你的人生也会因此增添更多暖色。

At the same time, I also hope that you can all have an honest and kind heart. In the Analects of Confucius, it is said: "Virtue is not solitary, there must be neighbors.". When interacting with others, one should learn to respect them and treat everyone with sincerity and kindness. In this way, you will also earn the respect and friendship of others, and your life will be more compassionate as a result.

今天，我们见证了我们的学生成长，他们花了一整年的时间来发光发热。今天上午，我们嘉奖了卓越的表现，嘉奖了学生对进步的投入，也嘉奖了一些学生在学校里所取得的变化。

Today we have seen our students who have taken the time over the whole year  to shine. This morning we have celebrated excellence, we have celebrated a commitment to improve and we have celebrated the changes that some students make as they move through the school.

我想先对父母说声“谢谢”。我感谢家长们对学校的支持。我感谢他们的眼光，把孩子送到OCIS来完成学业。也正是我们所做的一切，才能拥有这样的家长。

I want to start saying “Thank You, firstly to the parents. I thank the parents for their support and their support of the school. I thank them for their foresight to send their children to OCIS to care for their learning. It is a testament to what we do to have such dedicated parents who support the school.

今天，学生演讲者提到了在他们的旅程中帮助过他们的老师。所以我要感谢学校的所有老师，因为每一位老师都努力支持每一位学生。无论学科，无关乎学生个人对学科的喜好，每一位老师仍然努力工作，努力备课，以促进你的学习。所以我现在请你们和我一起感谢学校的所有老师。

The student speakers today made reference to particular teachers who have helped them along their journey. Secondly, I want to thank all of the teachers at the school, as every teacher has worked to support each and every one of the students. It doesn’t matter the subject, it doesn’t matter if you like the subject, every teacher has still worked hard, planned hard to facilitate your learning. So I ask you now to join me to thank all the teachers here at the school.

第三，感谢学生们，因为没有你们，也就没有学校。感谢你们在过去的一年里认真学习，无论是为了达到更好的水平，还是只是为了改善你的学校生活。因此，我感谢学生们的投入和热情，让这里成为一个值得学习的地方。

And thirdly, thank you to the students, because without you we don’t have a school. Thank you for the work you have put in over the past 12 months, whether that work has been to achieve at the highest level or just been to achieve improvement in any part of your school life. So, I thank the students for their dedication and enthusiasm in making this a place to enjoy coming to learn.

今天的关键字通常是“开启”，期待新的旅程。但是，我喜欢把今天的话和庆祝活动视为“欢送”，结束过去的一年，告别过去。

Often the title for today is “Commencement” looking forward to the new journey. But, I like to think of the words and celebration today to be “Valedictory” a closing of the past year and saying goodbye to the past.

感谢你的这一年，祝贺所有获奖者，祝那些即将离开我们的人在未来好运。祝你假期愉快，我们明年再见！

Thank you for the year, congratulations to all the prize winners, good luck in the future for those that will be leaving us. Have a good holiday and we will see you next year!
